Job Overview
Gallen Hospitality is seeking a committed Night Porter to join their team at An Chúirt Hotel, located in Meenderrygamph, Letterkenny, County Donegal, Ireland. This part-time role is essential in maintaining hotel operations through the night, blending customer service, security, and light cleaning duties to ensure guests' comfort and safety during overnight hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests arriving late at night efficiently and courteously
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, concerns, and complaints
- Conduct routine security patrols and checks throughout the hotel premises
- Support setup of conference rooms and various hotel facilities in preparation for morning events
- Carry out light housekeeping and maintenance tasks to uphold the hotel's appearance
- Prepare and arrange for breakfast service as required
- Coordinate with reception, housekeeping, and other departments to ensure optimal guest experience
- Deliver accurate and detailed shift handover reports to morning staff
Candidate Requirements
- Legal authorization to work in Ireland
- Proficient in English language communication
- Preferably, prior experience working night shifts in a hospitality setting
