Role Overview

The position is a full-time, on-site role based in Doha, Qatar, for a Night Auditor and Receptionist. Key responsibilities involve managing front desk activities during the nighttime hours, including guest check-ins and check-outs, allocating rooms, and addressing guest inquiries and requests promptly. The role includes reconciling financial transactions at day’s end, generating comprehensive reports, and ensuring billing and payments are accurate. Additional duties encompass handling reservations, updating and maintaining guest records, monitoring public spaces for cleanliness and safety, and liaising with other hotel departments to ensure seamless overnight operations. Upholding high customer service standards, following hotel policies meticulously, and promptly handling any issues professionally are essential aspects of this job.

Candidate Qualifications

• Demonstrated strong customer service expertise and front office abilities, including adept guest interaction, problem resolution, and professional communication skills.
• Fundamental knowledge of accounting and auditing practices like cash register balancing, revenue reconciliation, and preparing financial summaries.
• Proficiency in using hotel property management systems, common office software, precise data entry, and effective record keeping.
• Capability to work overnight shifts while juggling multiple responsibilities, maintaining high attention to detail, and safeguarding confidentiality.
• Previous experience in hospitality, front desk, or night audit roles is favored, especially within luxury or five-star hotels.
• Fluent spoken and written English required; knowledge of additional languages spoken by guests in Qatar is a plus.
• Minimum education requirement is a high school diploma or its equivalent; additional hospitality-related education or certifications are advantageous.
• Professional grooming and a courteous manner are essential to deliver service that aligns with the hotel’s distinguished standards.
