Multi-site General Manager - Urgent Care

About the Role

NextCare Urgent Care is looking for an energetic and well-organized Multi-site General Manager to lead multiple clinic locations in San Antonio, TX. This position requires overseeing facility resources and staff to guarantee excellent patient care alongside efficient operations. The role encompasses financial management, team development, and maintaining an environment that aligns with the NextCare mission.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinic operations ensuring smooth patient flow and adherence to regulatory requirements such as COLA and standing orders; actively engage in audits.
• Lead recruitment, training, and performance management of receptionists, medical assistants, and radiology technicians; coordinate staff scheduling to maintain proper coverage.
• Handle financial aspects including managing expenses, revenue tracking, profit/loss statements, contributing to budget planning, and monitoring coding and reimbursement accuracy through scorecards.
• Address patient feedback promptly by utilizing superior customer service skills and work collaboratively with Sales & Marketing to boost patient intake.
• Support clinical functions by maintaining a safe environment and staying clinically proficient to provide backup assistance in various departments when necessary.
• Participate in regional meetings and pursue professional development to remain informed on current trends in healthcare.

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Possession of valid healthcare professional-level CPR certification (AHA, ARC, ASHI, or NSC).
• Willingness to undertake on-call duties and manage multiple clinic sites.

Preferred (Not mandatory):

• Bachelor's degree or higher medical/academic qualifications.
• At least three years of management experience within healthcare or medical office settings.
• Strong background in human resources and financial management; proficient computer and typing skills.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Capability to stand, walk, sit, and lift or move weights up to 40 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical atmosphere with potential exposure to diverse patient illnesses and unpredictable scenarios.
