Role Overview

We are searching for a skilled and driven Mobile Engineer with both high intellectual and emotional intelligence. This role will thrive in a fast-moving, evolving team environment and offers significant room for career progression. You will primarily work on our high-traffic mobile applications, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain new features in our TypeScript React Native based app, supporting major product launches, and enhancing the mobile platform. As you develop, your responsibilities and project scope will expand accordingly. The company fosters a strong culture of promotion with clear engineering career paths.

Compensation

• Senior level: $4700 - $9500 USD gross per month
• Mid level: $3500 - $6000 USD gross per month

Core Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain innovative product features within a cross-platform React Native app using TypeScript.
• Continuously learn product areas and collaborate with product owners to provide insights and improvement suggestions.
• Contribute actively to architecture and design discussions aimed at building next-generation features.
• Engage hands-on with the existing codebase and participate in code review processes.
• Deliver clean, scalable, robust, and testable code collaboratively.
• Participate in project planning, estimation, and execution alongside stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Experience collaboratively solving technical challenges in a team environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Proficiency with modern frontend development, especially JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Strong experience with React Native or React web development.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively use Claude or similar large language model (LLM) tools to boost productivity, research, and communication.

Preferred Skills and Knowledge

• Experience delivering mobile applications published on Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
• Ability to design and implement automated testing including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Familiarity with React Native app architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of software engineering tools, methodologies, and release cycles.
