About the Role

As a Merchandise Project Coordinator at Diskko, you will oversee the entire production process for merchandise associated with leading global brands. This role demands ownership of each project from initial orders through to final delivery, managing all aspects including blanks, dye processes, print approvals, vendor relationships, and timelines concurrently.

This position operates within a dynamic, fast-paced environment requiring quick decisions and continuous communication. It is not a conventional 9-to-5 position; production schedules are fluid and deadlines crucial.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and order blanks from appropriate vendors, ensuring correct quantities and timelines.
• Manage custom dye orders from specifications through to delivery coordination.
• Review and approve colors and sizes for prints prior to production, ensuring quality and accuracy.
• Simultaneously coordinate multiple vendors and production schedules without overlooking any detail.
• Maintain near-constant communication with vendors, internal teams, and sometimes clients to prevent delays and costly mistakes.
• Identify and resolve production issues proactively, communicating effectively before problems escalate.
• Make autonomous, on-the-spot decisions regarding production to keep processes moving forward.

Compensation and Work Environment

This is a full-time contract role based in New York City with a hybrid setup, primarily work-from-home but with office access available. The expected monthly compensation is around $4,000 plus potential performance-based bonuses. Currently, no benefits such as healthcare or retirement plans are offered, but efforts are underway to add these in the future.
