Role Overview

This full-time remote position as a Medical Interpreter requires facilitating clear and precise communication between healthcare providers and patients with limited English proficiency. The responsibilities encompass real-time interpretation through multiple formats such as telephone and video remote interpreting, accurate usage of medical terminology, and upholding confidentiality and professional conduct throughout all interactions.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in Medical Interpretation and well-versed in medical terminology
• Previous experience in healthcare-related interpretation and translation
• Competency in simultaneous interpretation and associated methodologies
• Excellent communication skills coupled with strong interpersonal abilities
• Certification or formal training in Medical Interpretation is preferred
• Fluency in English along with at least one other language
• Capability to work autonomously and efficiently in a remote setting
• Knowledge of confidentiality protocols and HIPAA compliance is advantageous
