Job Overview
We are conducting a mega walk-in recruitment drive for Mechanical Design Engineers experienced in Electromechanical and Product Design domains. The event is scheduled for July 18, 2026, in Pune at HCL Tech, Amber Fort, Rajiv Gandhi InfoTech Park. Candidates with 2.5 to 5 years of experience are encouraged to attend.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Own complete mechanical and electromechanical design projects end-to-end.
- Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks or Creo.
- Develop Bills of Materials (BOMs) and configuration documents.
- Apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), tolerance stack-up, and engineering calculations.
- Implement design for manufacturing and assembly (DFM/DFA) principles.
- Work with various manufacturing processes including machining, sheet metal, welding, and injection molding.
- Participate in prototyping, validation, root cause analysis, and managing engineering change orders (ECO/ECN).
- Maintain updated BOMs, revisions, and related documentation.
- Collaborate closely with electrical, software, and manufacturing teams for system integration involving sensors, actuators, and wiring.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.Tech/B.E.).
- 2.5 to 5 years in product design, manufacturing industry, or development, preferably in the semiconductor domain.
- Proficient in mechanical design and product development using SolidWorks and Creo CAD tools.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, drawing and BOM standards.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes including machining and finishing.
- Experience or exposure to semiconductor equipment and special purpose machinery (SPM) is preferred.
- Familiarity with PLM tools such as Windchill, Teamcenter, Enovia, SAP, and MS Office.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with simulation techniques (thermal, structural, vibration analysis).
- Knowledge of cleanroom environments and optical systems.
