Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Manager of Social Media Strategy & Content to lead the transformation of Ocean Spray’s organic social media presence. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Brand & Creative Strategy, this hybrid role is based in our Boston, MA seaport office with remote work on Mondays and Fridays. This position plays a crucial part in shaping the brand’s social vision, enhancing cultural relevance, and integrating social media into the consumer journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and own a forward-thinking social media vision and content approach aligned with brand goals, creative direction, and business strategy.
  • Define how social media supports brand building, culture, community engagement, commerce, and consumer interactions.
  • Lead a strategic shift from reactive social execution to a proactive, innovative content ecosystem.
  • Spot emerging social platforms, trends, and behaviors to keep the brand at the forefront of social engagement.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in social media strategy, content or digital marketing, or integrated brand communications.
  • Proven track record in strategizing and leading social media efforts for major consumer brands, agencies, or media firms.
  • Skilled in building cohesive content ecosystems that stimulate both brand expansion and audience engagement.
  • Experience managing agency, creator, production partnerships and collaborating cross-functionally.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of social media trends, platform changes, creator economy dynamics, and content evolution.
  • Preferred experience in structuring or optimizing social media teams and developing social-first content strategies including influencer and community management.
  • Experience in CPG, food & beverage, lifestyle, or consumer brand sectors is advantageous.
  • Bachelor’s or University degree is required.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary range for this position is $105,800 to $132,200. The final offer considers skills, experience, and internal benchmarks. Eligible positions may receive incentive bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.
