About the Role
Become an external auditor for a globally recognized certification organization dedicated to driving positive change for people and the planet. As a Management Systems Auditor, you will independently evaluate clients' management systems to ensure they meet key international standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001. Your work will involve a mix of remote and on-site audits across a diverse range of industries from small businesses to major global brands. Based in the UK, primarily homebased covering Worcestershire, Gloucestershire, and South Birmingham, with frequent client visits required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct independent assessments of clients’ management systems for compliance with relevant international standards.
- Guide clients through the audit process, preparing detailed reports and effectively communicating findings.
- Support continuous improvement in clients’ operations through audit insights.
- Travel regularly to client sites within the designated regions.
Candidate Requirements
- Degree in Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent industrial experience.
- At least two years’ experience in industrial sectors such as supply chain auditing, National Highway Sector Scheme (NHSS), clean/wastewater management, manufacturing, or construction.
- Strong understanding of quality, environmental, and health & safety management systems along with auditing experience.
- Lead Auditor certification in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and/or ISO 45001 preferred; IOSH or NEBOSH certifications desirable.
- Excellent time management, organizational skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication, presentation skills, and client-focused approach.
- Possession of a valid UK driving license.
