Role Overview

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Maintenance Technician to join our team at Hotels On Whyte in Edmonton. This role involves performing routine repairs, improvements, and preventive maintenance across guest rooms, public areas, and various equipment as part of the Rooms Department. You will handle chemical products and equipment following strict safety and quality standards.

Daily Responsibilities

• Execute routine maintenance and repair tasks within guest rooms and public spaces.
• Perform preventive upkeep on equipment and hotel systems.
• Utilize chemical products safely as required under established protocols.
• Collaborate closely with the Rooms Department to ensure seamless operations.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate pays close attention to detail and adheres to health and safety standards. You are comfortable with physical work, including the ability to lift and operate equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate shifts across days, evenings, and weekends is essential.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of prior general maintenance experience.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work well within group settings.
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure quality completion of tasks.
• Dedication and integrity in all work-related responsibilities.
• Preferred: Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
