About the role
This is a permanent, on-site Machine Learning Engineer position in Bangalore with a 5-day work week. The role is focused on building and improving machine learning systems, especially open-source large language models, for AI evaluation use cases.
What you will do
- Work directly on training and fine-tuning open-source LLMs rather than only integrating via APIs.
- Handle the complete model workflow, including data preparation, training, benchmarking, iterative improvement, and evaluation.
- Build models and supporting systems for AI evaluation, testing, scoring, and analysis.
- Apply strong experimentation practices and systems-level thinking to improve model performance.
Required background
- Strong practical experience in applied machine learning.
- Deep familiarity with open-source LLMs such as LLaMA, Mistral, and Falcon.
- Advanced Python and PyTorch skills.
- Hands-on experience with fine-tuning methods like LoRA, SFT, and adapters.
- Experience evaluating ML models and measuring their output quality.
Additional details
This is a full-time permanent role based in Bangalore. The position starts immediately. One opening is available. The salary range is ₹16,80,000 to ₹30,00,000 per year. The deadline to apply is 2026-09-03 23:59:59.
