Loss Prevention Executive

Overview

The role involves comprehensive security duties at the property including patrolling, securing rooms, assisting guests in room access, and overseeing emergency protocols. Responsibilities encompass conducting safety drills, inspections, investigations, key audits, and monitoring surveillance systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Regularly patrol premises to ensure security and safety.
• Secure rooms and manage guest room access assistance.
• Execute emergency response drills and conduct daily physical safety inspections.
• Investigate incidents, interview relevant parties, and audit key control procedures.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems vigilantly.
• Authorize and document entries to restricted areas.
• Assist guests and staff during emergencies, responding to accidents, and providing first aid or CPR where necessary.
• Prepare and maintain confidential reports, releasing information solely to authorized personnel.
• Handle disturbances peacefully and resolve safety hazards following company guidelines.
• Manage interruptions and complaints effectively and escort unwelcome individuals off the premises.
• Ensure compliance with legal regulations, including alcoholic beverage control laws.
• Use correct emergency codes to summon assistance when required.
• Assist management with employee training, coaching, and motivation, acting as a role model and a first contact under the Fair Treatment/Open Door policies.
• Adhere to and enforce company policies and procedures consistently.
• Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe work conditions promptly to management and complete required safety certifications.
• Maintain a professional appearance and confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Deliver excellent guest service by greeting, addressing needs proactively, and expressing genuine appreciation.
• Communicate professionally, prepare accurate documents, and handle telephone etiquette appropriately.
• Foster positive relationships among team members and support collective objectives.
• Meet quality standards and expectations in all duties.
• Fulfill any additional state licensing or registration requirements applicable to the role.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements

• Visual inspection of various materials, tools, and information formats.
• Prolonged standing, sitting, or walking during work shifts.
• Lifting, carrying, and moving objects up to 50 pounds unassisted and over 75 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to navigate confined, elevated, uneven, or slippery workspaces including stairs and ramps.
• Perform movements such as bending, twisting, pulling, reaching overhead, and stooping as required.
• Other reasonable tasks assigned by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

• Educational requirement: High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• Minimum two years of relevant work experience in a similar field.
• At least one year of supervisory experience.
• No specific licenses or certifications required.
