About The Role
We are looking for a seasoned Lead Graphic Designer to guide the creative vision for our social discovery product line. This leadership role includes managing the graphic design team, overseeing the production of visually appealing assets aligned with brand and strategic objectives, and integrating AI-powered workflows to streamline design efficiency and scalability. Coordination with marketing, product, and creative production teams is crucial, as is managing digital content for platforms like landing pages, social media, emails, and performance-driven advertisements. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, embracing both hands-on complex design tasks and mentorship responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage and inspire a graphic design team to uphold creative standards and consistency in visual outputs.
- Critically evaluate and approve all design deliverables, including those from freelancers.
- Lead by example through active participation in advanced design projects.
- Develop and refine AI-integrated workflows to accelerate production and boost quality.
- Apply automation technologies to enhance scalability and efficiency of creative processes.
- Mentor designers, elevating their design skills and AI tool proficiency.
- Ensure all outputs strictly comply with brand guidelines and suit various digital channels.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align creative strategies with marketing and product goals.
- Supervise high-volume creation of performance marketing creatives.
- Design and oversee production of digital assets including landing pages, email templates, social media content, banners, and brand visuals.
- Institutionalize scalable creative workflows, templates, and quality standards to meet rapid delivery demands.
- Balance artistic quality with operational efficiency under tight deadlines.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of expertise in graphic and web design with minimum 2 years in a leadership position.
- Proven track record in integrating AI tools into design pipelines enhancing measurable productivity and quality.
- Established ability to design scalable production infrastructures like templates, modular assets, and automated workflows.
- Experience successfully reducing cycle times and cutting costs using automation.
- Prior work in dynamic settings such as startups, agencies, or large in-house teams.
- Solid understanding of performance marketing metrics including CTR, CPA, ROAS.
- Skilled in managing partnerships with freelancers, agencies, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in creating assets optimized for platforms including Meta, TikTok, and Google.
- Strong command of responsive design, web/email layouts, and technical handoffs.
- Expertise in maintaining brand integrity across multiple asset formats.
- Advanced skills in composition, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
- Experience using AI image generation technologies such as Flux, Stable Diffusion, ComfyUI, with prompt engineering competence.
- Familiarity with automation tools like Make, n8n, and Figma plugins.
- High proficiency with Figma features such as auto-layout, component systems, and scalable design frameworks.
- Basic motion design knowledge and After Effects usage is advantageous.
