Role Overview

The Lead Design Architect will be instrumental in creating and delivering the architectural vision for expansive airport real estate projects. This includes planning and overseeing innovative, sustainable, and functional urban spaces such as retail, offices, hotels, convention centers, and arenas across multiple cities including Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Lucknow, and Guwahati.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct architectural design activities for hospitality-centric mixed-use developments, business parks, and retail environments.
• Engage collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders ensuring seamless execution of design concepts.
• Provide strategic insights and innovative design solutions to elevate both aesthetic appeal and functional utility of projects.
• Maintain compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, building codes, and sustainability standards throughout design phases.
• Lead, mentor, and develop junior architects to cultivate a productive, collaborative team culture.
• Perform periodic site inspections and attend project meetings to oversee progress and resolve design issues promptly.
• Enhance design workflows and methodologies continually to improve project delivery outcomes.
• Steer the design approval processes in coordination with statutory consultants at every development stage.

Educational and Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from prestigious institutions such as SPA, CEPT University, or JJ College of Architecture.
• Master’s degree in Architecture is preferred.
• Fifteen to eighteen years of extensive experience in architectural design specifically within real estate, mixed-use, and hospitality sectors.
• Demonstrated leadership of complete project cycles from concept through onsite completion.

Technical and Behavioral Competencies

• Strong leadership capabilities and excellent communication skills.
• Sharp problem-solving skills coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience working effectively in team-based, deadline-sensitive environments.
• Expertise in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, and SketchUp.
• In-depth knowledge of construction materials, techniques, and sustainable design practices.
• Proven ability to develop architectural concepts focusing on hospitality-driven projects.

• No mandatory certifications required; however, relevant architectural certifications are advantageous.
