Role overview

De Vere Cotswold Water Park is looking for a Kitchen Porter to join the back-of-house team and help keep the kitchen running smoothly. This position is centred on maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic working environment for the kitchen, equipment, utensils, and workstations. A strong eye for detail is important, as the role supports the kitchen team at the core of hotel operations.

What the role involves

In this position, you will work closely with the kitchen team to keep the operational areas tidy and hygienic and ensure that the tools and equipment used in food service are properly cared for. If you are interested in building culinary skills, there is also scope to assist chefs with simple food prep and receive training and development, though this is not a mandatory part of the job.

Working pattern

The job includes a mix of early, late, and weekend shifts on a rota basis. Both full-time and part-time applications are welcome. The hotel operates around the clock, so shift arrangements are varied and designed to suit different lifestyles.

The hourly rate is £12.71, and the role also includes a share of restaurant service charge.
