Junior Architect

Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Architect based in Mira Road, Mumbai to join our Projects/Infrastructure department. This position involves assisting in the planning, design, and execution phases of architectural projects, ensuring tasks are completed on time with quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural drawings, layouts, and design ideas.
• Help in creating detailed construction documents and working drawings.
• Collaborate with vendors, contractors, consultants, and internal teams.
• Perform site inspections to track progress and verify compliance with design.
• Evaluate vendor quotations, material selections, and shop drawings.
• Guarantee adherence to quality, safety, and statutory regulations throughout projects.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and maintaining documentation.
• Keep thorough records including Bills of Quantities and design updates.
• Address design and implementation challenges alongside the project team.
• Remain current with architectural trends, new materials, and construction technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch).
• Between 1 to 3 years of practical experience in architectural design and project coordination.
• Fresh graduates with suitable internship exposure are welcome to apply.

Essential Skills

• Competency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Microsoft Office suite.
• Understanding of architectural design fundamentals and construction methodologies.
• Effective vendor management and coordination capabilities.
• Strong communication skills coupled with problem-solving aptitude.
• Capability to handle multiple responsibilities and adhere to deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive work ethic.

Preferred Profile

• Experience working on projects in the institutional, commercial, or educational infrastructure sectors.
• Ability to coordinate seamlessly with vendors and onsite execution teams.
• Willingness to travel for site inspections as necessary.
