Janitor

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the facility remains clean and well-maintained at all times.
• Carry out intensive cleaning tasks like floor cleaning.
• Perform routine upkeep activities to support facility maintenance.
• Keep custodial supplies and closets neat and well-ordered.
• Maintain proper working order of cleaning machinery, including Tennant floor cleaning equipment.
• Sanitize common employee areas such as break rooms, time clocks, and entryways.
• Regularly empty trash receptacles throughout the premises.

Qualifications and Skills

• No formal education is required for this position.
• No previous experience is mandatory, though prior cleaning or maintenance experience is advantageous.
• Capable of managing physically demanding tasks.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills are important.
