IT Analyst & Quality Assurance Specialist - Banking Sector

Overview

We are seeking a proficient IT Analyst & Quality Assurance professional with extensive expertise in business analysis, software quality assurance, and banking application domains. The candidate will play a crucial role in eliciting business needs, drafting detailed functional documents, spearheading system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT), managing issues and defects, and assisting in implementing applications while ensuring software delivery aligns with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze business requirements including creation of Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), and Software Requirement Specifications (SRS).
• Conduct both functional and non-functional analysis to ensure comprehensive coverage of software capabilities.
• Plan, organize, and execute SIT and UAT phases to validate application functionality and performance.
• Develop detailed test plans and test cases; oversee defect tracking and resolution processes.
• Utilize knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methods, including Agile and Waterfall frameworks.
• Work with database technologies such as SQL, Oracle, and SQL Server for data validation and queries.
• Integrate and test APIs and system interfaces to ensure seamless system operation.
• Engage with popular programming languages and technologies such as Java, .NET, C#, Python, and React (preferred) to support testing and troubleshooting efforts.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain clear documentation and foster effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Candidate Profile

• Hold at least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline.
• Possess a minimum of five years' overall experience in IT fields.
• Demonstrated 2 to 4 years of experience specifically in application development, configuration, or support roles.
• Experience within the banking or financial domain is highly desirable.
• Strong proficiency in English with excellent communication skills; Arabic language skills are a plus.
