About Alpha Drop Ventures and the Role
Alpha Drop Ventures is creating a standard platform for cultural commerce, centering on DROPZ, its flagship platform. The company also develops brands such as Cipher Noir, which exemplifies authentic culture-driven products. Currently pre-launch and before revenue generation, Alpha Drop Ventures is actively raising its Seed funding round. With infrastructure and team assembled, the company needs a dedicated individual to lead investor engagement and communications.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain a qualified network of venture capitalists, angel investors, family offices, and strategic investors that align with the company's current stage, industry sector, and narrative.
- Independently initiate contact and initial discussions, effectively representing the company with strong clarity and confidence prior to founder involvement.
- Manage relationships with existing investors with the same rigor as cultivating new ones through consistent updates and regular interaction.
- Take full responsibility for preparing investor-facing documents including pitch decks, one-pagers, data room content, and financial overviews, collaborating with internal content and design teams.
- Lead the entire Seed round process by managing communications, timelines, persistent follow-ups, and ensuring steady momentum in the funding pipeline.
- Detect and rectify any shortcomings in company positioning or presentation that could hinder investor discussions.
- Work closely with the founder daily to maintain clarity in decision-making and prioritization during the fundraising process.
The Nature of the Role
- This is a vital founding team position where the role extends beyond a title to owning the most important process of the company.
- You will operate in an environment without revenue yet, selling the vision, story, and team instead of financial results.
- You are expected to act independently by identifying necessary steps and driving them forward without waiting for direction.
- The feedback culture is direct and unfiltered; you will receive clear communication on success and areas requiring improvement, and you must handle both professionally.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Experience in startup fundraising activities including investor outreach, relationship stewardship, and preparation of investment materials.
- Direct participation in a successfully closed funding round, either as the lead or a close contributor in the process.
- Ability to confidently lead investor communications autonomously, accurately representing an early-stage company.
- Strong writing and communication skills with the aptitude to create compelling pitch decks, one-pagers, and investor updates focused on a coherent and impactful narrative.
- Highly organized in managing pipelines, timelines, and follow-ups to ensure steady progress and process transparency.
- Comfortable working in a pre-revenue context where strong conviction in the story and team quality are critical.
- Genuine passion for building companies, viewing fundraising as a means to enable growth rather than an end in itself.
