IDB Invest invites qualified candidates to join its Talent Pool for Investment Management Analysts or Associates to fulfill ongoing and future needs in the Caribbean region's Financial Institutions, Corporates, and Infrastructure & Energy sectors. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in originating, structuring, negotiating, approving, and executing financial transactions including loans, quasi-equity, and equity investments in corporate, infrastructure, and energy sectors within the Caribbean.
• Engage in client relationship management and business development efforts.
• Perform thorough due diligence, financial analysis, and modeling to assess investment opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify risks and deliver innovative financing solutions.
• Conduct market research and contribute to transaction execution.

Candidate Profile

• Educational background: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics.
• Professional experience: Between 1 to 2 years in loan and investment analysis, origination, structured finance such as project finance, or corporate finance transactions.
• Experience working on complex financial transactions involving various instruments and products is highly preferred.
• Prior work with institutional investors, investment firms, advisory firms, development banks, or infrastructure companies is advantageous.
• Language skills: Fluent in spoken and written English; additional proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese, or French is beneficial.
