Position Overview
This role involves active participation in the execution of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and financing projects within the infrastructure and energy sectors. The analyst will be instrumental in developing detailed financial models, conducting valuations, and preparing various transaction-related documents. Additionally, extensive industry and market research will support client engagements and ensure informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing M&A and financing initiatives across infrastructure and energy industries.
- Create, update, and manage comprehensive financial models and valuation assessments.
- Perform thorough industry, company, and market research to back client projects.
- Develop client-facing materials such as presentations, information memoranda, and marketing content.
- Collaborate closely with senior bankers and clients throughout transactions, from initial stages to completion.
Candidate Requirements
- Between two and three years of full-time experience in M&A following internship periods.
- Previous employment at a prominent investment bank or boutique firm with experience on active M&A deals.
- Proven expertise in financial modelling and valuation techniques.
- Preferably familiar with sectors such as infrastructure, energy, or related fields.
- Excellent analytical abilities accompanied by strong communication and presentation skills.
- A genuine interest in global markets and engaging in cross-border transactions.
