Role Overview

We are looking for a meticulous and analytical Investment or Financial Analyst to assist with investment decisions, financial planning, and evaluating business performance. This role involves analyzing financial data, conducting market research, building financial models, and delivering strategic insights that contribute to organizational growth and investment goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine financial statements and business performance metrics to guide investment and financial choices.
• Create and manage financial models, projections, budgets, and valuation analyses.
• Conduct in-depth research on industries, companies, and competitors to inform decisions.
• Track financial markets, macroeconomic trends, and pinpoint investment prospects.
• Assess the performance of investments and compile detailed analytical reports for stakeholders.
• Support portfolio analysis, evaluate risks, and review asset allocations.
• Develop financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for management review.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning efforts.
• Analyze key performance indicators to detect trends impacting business outcomes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and other teams to offer data-driven recommendations.
• Conduct variance analysis to uncover financial improvement opportunities.
• Support due diligence tasks, business case creation, and strategic investment projects.
• Ensure data accuracy and maintain integrity of financial reporting systems.
• Keep financial documentation compliant with internal policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar discipline.
• Robust understanding of financial analysis, investment principles, corporate finance, and accounting basics.
• Experience with financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and valuation methods.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis software tools.
• Knowledgeable about financial reporting standards and able to interpret financial statements.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication skills—both written and verbal—focused on presenting complex financial data clearly.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a collaborative team.
