Role overview
We are hiring a proactive IT Support Deskside Specialist to become part of the IT function. The role is focused on delivering practical, hands-on technical assistance, helping users solve day-to-day issues, and ensuring systems and devices continue to operate reliably.
What you will handle
- Deliver second-line support both at the desk and remotely for issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Diagnose and fix problems on Windows and/or macOS endpoints, including laptops, desktop computers, and attached peripherals.
- Set up, configure, and support workstations, applications, and operating system updates.
- Administer user identities and access through Active Directory, Azure AD, and Microsoft 365.
- Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding by preparing, issuing, and retiring devices as needed.
- Record, monitor, and manage incidents and service requests in the ServiceNow ITSM platform.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in IT support, service desk, or helpdesk environments.
- Good working knowledge of Windows 10/11 and/or macOS systems.
- Practical experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365 administration.
- Understanding of core networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
- Experience using ITSM systems and working in line with ITIL practices.
- Strong problem-solving ability with careful attention to detail.
