Role Summary

This is a full-time, on-site position in Doha for an IT professional who will keep the organization’s technology environment running smoothly. The role focuses on supporting and maintaining core infrastructure such as servers, networks, and user devices. It also involves troubleshooting system and hardware/software issues, assisting employees with technical problems, and helping ensure that IT services remain stable, secure, and dependable.

Key Duties

The Information Technology Officer will monitor network and system health, handle backups, apply updates and patches, document incidents and internal IT procedures, and contribute to technology improvements across the group. The role also includes supporting IT projects and upgrades, and working to improve the overall reliability and effectiveness of technology services.

Requirements

Applicants should have a solid grounding in information technology and be comfortable working across varied IT setups. Practical experience in resolving hardware, software, and user-support issues is important, along with working knowledge of network setup, monitoring, and security. The position also calls for experience in server and system administration, including user account management and backup handling. Exposure to ERP systems is considered an added advantage. A good understanding of IT security practices and data protection is also needed, as well as the ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with different teams and non-technical colleagues. Experience in a corporate or multi-location environment within the Gulf region is beneficial. Candidates must have a valid Qatari residency and a transferable status.
