About the Role
The Human Resources Executive will support various HR functions at a prestigious hospitality company located in New Delhi. This role involves assisting in addressing employee relations matters, supporting managerial staff with HR challenges, and ensuring hiring processes comply with all relevant laws and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and track employee relations issues, ensuring appropriate resolution and follow-up occurs.
- Provide assistance to management and leadership in resolving HR-related concerns.
- Oversee recruitment and hiring procedures to ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations as well as internal policies.
- Keep HR leadership informed about employee relations matters.
- Respond to queries from employees and management about company programs, policies, and guidelines.
- Communicate information related to employer-employee relations, personnel policies, and employee activities.
- Ensure employee files and records, such as interview documents and I-9 forms, are accurately maintained.
- Assist with the logistics, administration, and scheduling of annual employee surveys.
- Handle phone calls and message recording responsibly.
- Support management in hiring, training, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching staff.
- Adhere to all company and safety policies, reporting accidents, injuries, or hazards to management promptly.
- Protect confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Welcome guests warmly and communicate professionally, maintaining excellent telephone etiquette.
- Foster positive working relationships with colleagues, contributing to team goals and responding constructively to concerns.
- Use computers and point-of-sale systems to access work-related information as needed.
- Carry out physical tasks such as moving or lifting objects up to 10 pounds without assistance.
- Perform other reasonable duties assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) required.
- Minimum of one year of relevant work experience in human resources or related functions.
- At least one year of supervisory experience is preferred.
- No specific licenses or certifications are mandatory.
