Role Overview
The HR Business Partner (Specialist) will join the HR team at a client site under a 12-month maternity cover contract. This role supports people leaders and employees within a dynamic manufacturing setting and focuses on leadership support, employee relations, talent development, performance, engagement, company culture, change management, and adherence to people policies.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with designated business leadership, the broader Ireland HR team, and global HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to align site and broader organizational HR priorities. The role suits individuals who thrive in business-facing roles, enjoy building strong relationships, support day-to-day people management issues, and contribute to long-term people and organizational strategy.
Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate with leaders and managers to advance business and people objectives within assigned groups.
- Provide hands-on coaching and guidance on employee relations, performance management, talent management, organizational design, change initiatives, and HR policies.
- Assist managers in addressing employee concerns with fairness and commercial awareness.
- Support the site’s industrial relations strategy emphasizing partnership approaches.
- Advance talent management, succession planning, employee engagement, and cultural initiatives.
- Advise leadership on organizational change impacts and workforce considerations.
- Leverage data and analytics to identify trends, inform decisions, and drive enhancements.
- Lead or contribute to local and Ireland-wide HR projects and initiatives.
- Collaborate with Ireland HR team and COEs to implement HR programs effectively.
- Serve as delegate for the HR Lead when required.
Required Skills and Experience
- At least five years' experience in an HR Business Partner role or similar capacity.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Comprehensive understanding of Irish employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex employee relations matters.
- Ability to develop credibility and trust with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Strong coaching, influencing, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Competency in utilizing data and insights to back decision-making processes.
- Experience in manufacturing, regulated, or multinational environments is advantageous.
