Overview

We seek a motivated and experienced HR and Administration Officer to facilitate HR operations within a dynamic FMCG retail distribution setting. This position is pivotal in ensuring smooth HR processes, regulatory compliance, enhancing employee performance, as well as overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and training of franchise operators managing last-mile retail outlets.

The role requires presence in Nairobi with frequent travel to remote locations in Narok and Kajiado counties.

Qualifications and Experience

  • At least 2 to 3 years of progressive experience in an HR role within FMCG, retail, logistics, or distribution sectors.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor regulations in Kenya and HR best practice frameworks.
  • Demonstrated skills in recruitment, employee relations, performance evaluation, and HR administrative functions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and HR Information Systems (HRIS).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities coupled with stakeholder engagement expertise.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management capabilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously, lead teams, and efficiently juggle multiple responsibilities in a fast-moving environment.
