HR Manager - Ethiopia

Position Overview

We are looking for a seasoned HR Manager to lead and manage all human resource activities in our manufacturing site located in Ethiopia. The successful candidate will possess extensive HR experience within manufacturing settings, a comprehensive understanding of Ethiopian labor laws, and a dedication to nurturing a positive and regulation-compliant workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and execute HR strategies that support the company's objectives.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and employee training processes.
• Ensure strict adherence to Ethiopian labor legislation and regulations.
• Manage employee relations, handle grievances, and apply disciplinary measures as needed.
• Administer payroll, benefits, and monitor attendance records.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee documentation and HR records.
• Promote initiatives focused on workplace safety, health, and employee well-being.
• Collaborate with leadership to plan workforce development and address staffing requirements.
• Conduct performance evaluations and pinpoint training necessities.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years experience as an HR Manager, preferably within manufacturing industries.
• In-depth knowledge of Ethiopian employment laws and related regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Capability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Excellent organizational skills and leadership acumen.
