Role Overview

We are seeking a full-time HR Generalist to manage human resources activities across multiple sites, specifically at The Marley and Newtowpark House facilities. This role acts as the central HR contact for these nursing homes and reports daily to the HR Manager. The position requires splitting time between two locations and spending one day per week at the Head Office located in Blanchardstown Corporate Park.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily HR operations within assigned nursing homes, collaborating with the HR Manager and team to address urgent HR matters.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, employment legislation, and company values.
  • Maintain data accuracy in line with GDPR standards.
  • Handle industrial relations issues including disciplinaries and grievances.
  • Support recruitment efforts such as CV screening, interview scheduling, reference checks, and documentation preparation; coordinate job fairs locally and occasionally across the EU.
  • Prepare and manage HR communications and presentations using multimedia and PowerPoint tools.
  • Compile and analyze weekly/monthly HR reports on absenteeism, training, and other relevant metrics.
  • Manage onboarding processes, update employment terms and conditions, and maintain accurate HR records including permits and visas.
  • Collaborate with Payroll and other departments to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Ensure both nursing homes remain audit-ready at all times.
  • Understand and adhere to nursing home regulations including HIQA standards.
  • Participate in team development and provide training sessions as required.
  • Plan and implement people-related projects supporting the organization's business strategies.

The successful candidate will undertake other duties as assigned by the HR Manager or Director of HR to support the HR function effectively.
