About the Role

ATCO Frontec invites applications for a Housekeeper position within our Camp Services team located in Northern British Columbia. This role centers around sustaining high levels of cleanliness, hygiene, and upkeep across all living quarters and associated facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure bedrooms and bathrooms remain clean and sanitary
• Change bed linens, distribute towels, and provide toiletries as required
• Perform dusting of furniture and drapes, and vacuum floors when necessary
• Sweep and mop flooring thoroughly
• Empty waste bins and dispose of debris properly
• Clean windows, walls, baseboards, and ceilings to maintain cleanliness standards
• Comply rigorously with governmental regulations and ATCO Frontec's health and safety policies
• Carry out additional duties assigned by supervisors

Candidate Qualifications

• At least one year of commercial housekeeping experience, specifically within remote camps or hotel environments
• Essential previous exposure to working in remote camp settings
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform repetitive bending and stretching tasks
• Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English
• Basic computer proficiency enabling completion of online training modules
• Capacity to work well under the pressure of a fast-paced work environment
• Successful passing of drug and alcohol screening
• Ability to clear a criminal background check

Compensation and Work Conditions

The position offers a starting wage of $18.00 per hour, subject to adjustments. The work schedule follows a rotational pattern, though details will be confirmed upon hiring. Employees receive complimentary meals, accommodation, and access to amenities during their onsite rotation.
