Role Overview

PAM Health is hiring a full-time Hospital Unit Secretary for day shifts at Wiregrass Ranch Rehab in Wesley Chapel, Florida. This position supports daily activity at the nursing station and helps keep unit communication organized and efficient.

What the Role Involves

The Unit Secretary serves as the front-line administrative support for the nursing unit. The job includes greeting and directing people at the desk, keeping patient records up to date, relaying physician instructions accurately, and helping maintain an orderly nursing station. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Unit Secretary certification is also preferred. No prior experience is required, though previous experience in a healthcare setting is an advantage. Familiarity with office equipment is helpful.
