Job description
Role Overview
Join Iceland as a Home Delivery Driver and be the key contact for delivering shopping orders directly to customers. This role involves being active, working independently, and engaging with customers while ensuring a high standard of service and food quality.
Key Duties
- Adhere strictly to safe van loading methods, including handling heavy items appropriately.
- Maintain safe driving practices at all times and complete routine vehicle checks.
- Deliver food items to customers ensuring they arrive in excellent condition.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries.
- Support in-store operations when necessary.
- Manage your schedule efficiently and have the flexibility to work varied shifts between 6am and 11pm.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a full driving license held for at least three years with no more than six penalty points.
- Exhibit a positive attitude and dedication towards delivering outstanding customer experiences.
- Be punctual and capable of meeting deadlines reliably.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding and commitment to road safety.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly pay rate of £13.71.
