Role Overview

We seek an innovative curriculum leader who will champion excellence in teaching and learning, establish high expectations for student achievement and staff output, oversee academic progress for all year levels, and ensure compliance with education quality and vocational standards. This position entails empowering staff development and nurturing collaborative partnerships with students, families, external providers, and the wider community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead faculty curriculum planning, instruction, and learning outcomes to ensure quality education for all students.
  • Maintain rigorous standards for student achievement and staff performance across the department.
  • Monitor and evaluate students' academic progress at every level.
  • Guarantee adherence to government education requirements and vocational education and training (VET) standards, including QCAA and ASQA.
  • Oversee internal VET documentation and compliance for registered qualifications.
  • Track completion and certification rates of VET qualifications within the school.
  • Develop a strong knowledge of VET systems or demonstrate readiness to acquire this expertise.
  • Establish and strengthen relationships with stakeholders including students, parents, education providers, and community members.
