Graduate Scheme: AI Engineering Track

• Engage in projects ranging from AI-powered core customer operations to innovative agentic workflows and automation products in early development.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering teams in the UK and Shenzhen, plus risk, compliance, and customer operations departments.
• Begin contributing with actual code deployment starting from the first week to learn through real experience.
• Your responsibilities will include building generative AI and AI-agent solutions for customer and lending operations, designing prompts and workflows to enhance AI reliability, integrating large language models with internal tools and business systems, and writing clean, scalable Python code for live production applications.
• Participate in mentorship pairing with senior engineers and engage in bi-annual technical reviews and career development planning.
• Make a tangible impact by deploying AI systems that improve customer and risk workflows and lending decisions for thousands of customers.

Candidate Profile

• A strong belief in continuous learning and desire to grow by practical application at a fast-growing fintech.
• Passion for using AI to address complex, practical challenges beyond mere demonstrations.
• Ability to work autonomously with ownership over tasks.
• Eagerness to understand the commercial impact of technical solutions.
• Recent or upcoming graduate with a degree in a technical or quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, AI/Machine Learning, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or other STEM fields.
• Proficiency in Python or a comparable programming language, or solid computer science fundamentals with enthusiasm to excel in Python-based technologies.
• An understanding of and genuine interest in generative AI technologies like LLMs, embeddings, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), prompt engineering, structured outputs, and awareness of model constraints.

Recruitment Process

• Short take-home coding assessment lasting 20-30 minutes.
• One-hour remote technical interview via video call.
