General Operative

About the Role

As a General Operative with Kepak Group, you will play an essential role in maintaining efficient daily production operations, ensuring that customer demand for high-quality products is consistently met. Working collaboratively on the factory floor, you will contribute to various tasks essential to smooth manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in diverse production-related duties including operating production lines, packing, cleaning, and overseeing distribution activities.
• Handle lifting of weights of 15 kilograms or more, stand for over four hours, and navigate the factory floor independently.
• Be capable of working for extended periods in cold environments typical of food production facilities.
• Understand and follow the daily production schedule, assist in setting up lines, execute pre-start, hygiene, and safety checks diligently, and ensure materials are prepared for use.
• Promptly report any equipment damage, malfunctions, or breakages to the Line Supervisor, ensuring machinery is only operated under safe conditions.
• Maintain product quality at the highest standard and immediately alert supervisors to any quality concerns.
• Actively participate in company training programs, pose questions to clarify tasks, and ensure comprehension of all operational aspects.
• Report any accidents or near-misses and cooperate fully with investigations in line with the company’s safety policies.
• Engage wholeheartedly in Lean Manufacturing practices and embrace continual process improvements.
