General Maintenance Worker

Sodexo is hiring a General Maintenance Worker for the Pittsburgh Associates, LLC site in Bradenton, Florida. This full-time, on-site role is focused on keeping facilities functioning safely and efficiently through hands-on maintenance support.

Work schedule and pay

Shifts and workdays can vary, and open availability is preferred. The hourly pay range for this position is $23.00 to $41.76. Further scheduling details will be shared during the interview process.

What the job involves

In this position, you will help solve day-to-day maintenance issues and support a safe work environment. The work may include repairs or service across several practical trade areas, such as minor plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, basic machine servicing, electrical repairs or installations, and vehicle servicing.

You may also handle routine facility tasks like replacing bulbs, installing paper towel or paper dispenser units, changing filters, replacing door locks, and completing light decorative upkeep. These duties are intended for work that does not require a licensed skilled tradesperson or journeyman.

Attendance and punctuality are important, and you may be assigned additional duties depending on the needs of the account and client requirements.

Candidate profile

Sodexo is looking for someone who is dependable, flexible, team-focused, and committed to supporting a safe and healthy workplace. At least 2 years of related experience is required, and you must hold any license or certification needed for the specific work in the city and state where the job is performed.
