Job Summary

The role of General Labourer is to carry out sorting, cleaning, and material handling duties safely and efficiently to support plant operations. This involves maintaining cleanliness, following safety regulations, and adhering to company standards. The position suits dependable, physically fit individuals capable of working independently or collaboratively in fast-paced settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute all tasks following Company safety policies to ensure a safe work environment.
• Use personal protective equipment consistently.
• Examine materials and sort them into appropriate designated zones.
• Remove contaminants from sorting lines.
• Carry out cleaning of plant machinery and general housekeeping.
• Immediately report any system malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Keep the work and adjacent areas clean and organized.
• Maintain excellent attendance, safety, and work quality records.

Qualifications & Skills

• Capability to perform repetitive and physically demanding tasks over prolonged periods, including lifting objects up to 25 pounds.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills to understand and respond to instructions, questions, signs, signals, and safety training.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with variable weather conditions.
• Commitment to diversity and collaborative teamwork.
• Skill in meeting deadlines while maintaining quality of work.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and follow supervisor guidance effectively.
