Civeo Pacific Northwest Employees LP seeks a General Help team member for Sitka Lodge in Kitimat, British Columbia. The role involves maintaining the cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining spaces, assisting in food preparation and inventory management, and performing general kitchen duties under the supervision of the designated Manager. The position operates on a rotation schedule of 14 days working followed by 7 days off, including shifts covering days, nights, weekends, and statutory holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Store groceries efficiently following the First In, First Out (FIFO) inventory system.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen and dining floors through sweeping and mopping as directed.
• Keep kitchen and dining areas orderly and hygienic.
• Dispose of garbage properly and maintain the cleanliness of garbage disposal areas.
• Restock desserts, beverages, and condiments as necessary.
• Support inventory tracking and management activities.
• Communicate any instances of damage, theft, or abandoned items promptly to the Supervisor.
• Comply with all safety protocols and company procedures to ensure a secure work environment.
• Carry out additional duties assigned by supervisors as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a kitchen environment is essential.
• Possession of a valid Food Safety certification recognized in British Columbia throughout the employment period.
• Current First Aid certification is advantageous.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Physical ability to move, lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Capability to stand and walk for extended durations during shifts.
