About the Company and Role
SEWERIN develops and sells devices that detect gas and water leaks, contributing globally to protecting people from explosion hazards and the environment from unnecessary methane emissions or water loss. As a medium-sized enterprise, the company operates internationally and serves municipal gas supply companies by inspecting their underground supply networks.
We are seeking a Gas Leak Detection Technician (w/m/d) for our network inspection division to actively contribute every day to supply security in Germany. The role involves extensive outdoor work and regular interaction with diverse people, making it a varied and dynamic position. To perform this responsible job safely, the company provides necessary training and continuing education.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect gas pipelines for leak points.
- Identify and locate any detected damages.
- Document conducted activities in compliance with technical regulations.
- Operate independently using modern gas detection technology at network operators throughout Germany and neighboring countries.
Candidate Expectations
- Technical interest and willingness to complete training within the company.
- Full travel readiness.
- Possession of a Class B or Class 3 driver's license.
- Basic computer skills.
