The studio is responsible for popular titles including Good Pizza, Great Pizza, Good Coffee, Great Coffee, and Homematch, accumulating over 300 million downloads collectively. TapBlaze is self-funded, profitable, and releases live content on consistent schedules.

Role Overview

This full-time, on-site position at the Los Angeles office involves direct ownership of production workflows and schedules. The Game Producer ensures clear communication and coordination across the studio, making certain every team member understands their responsibilities, deadlines, and task priorities. This position demands hands-on management, with deep involvement in task tracking and production progress.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee Jira and all related project management tools for every ongoing game, managing board structuring, workflow design, maintenance, and reporting.
• Establish and maintain schedules and deadlines for all tasks, ensuring each has a responsible owner and due date, including inter-team and cross-office requests.
• Identify and flag schedule risks early, initiate tradeoff discussions, and guide decisions between timeline adjustments and scope reduction.
• Conduct efficient daily standup meetings that add value and respect participants' time.
• Serve as the central point of contact for all production-related inquiries, providing clear answers promptly.

Candidate Profile

• 3 to 6 years of experience in game production, specifically with free-to-play mobile games featuring live operations.
• Demonstrated ability to ship recurring content updates and familiarity with managing event calendars.
• Advanced knowledge and administrative expertise in Jira, including workflow creation and management.
• Strong interpersonal skills to hold team members accountable to deadlines while maintaining positive working relationships.
• Excellent written communication skills characterized by clarity and efficiency.
• Experience coordinating work across different time zones is advantageous, as part of the team operates from Beijing.

Physical Job Requirements

• Candidates must either reliably commute to or relocate to Los Angeles, CA before commencement of employment.
• The role involves extended periods of desk work and computer use.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $115,000 annually, depending on experience, with eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.
