Job Details

• Location: Remote / Work from Home

• Minimum relevant experience in private equity fund accounting: 8+ years
• Shift timing: 01:00 PM to 09:00 PM UK shift
• Notice period expected: Immediate joiner to a maximum of 30 days

Core Responsibilities

• Check and reconcile trial balances, general ledger entries, and partner allocation balances.
• Validate waterfall computations and confirm they are accurate.
• Match bank statements against records and close out any mismatches.
• Examine financial statements and supporting workpapers prepared by the third-party administrator.
• Review partner account statements and address any inconsistencies.
• Coordinate with multiple teams to support accurate, timely reporting.
• Support year-end audit work and tax preparation activities.
• Build and sustain effective working relationships with clients, partners, and vendors.
• Follow regulatory obligations as well as internal policies and procedures.

Candidate Profile

• The candidate should be a graduate or postgraduate with a strong grounding in accounting and finance.
• Applicants must have 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in private equity fund accounting and a solid understanding of accounting concepts.
• Experience with fund accounting platforms is required.
• Advanced Excel knowledge is needed, including work with large financial data sets, reporting tools, and macro creation.
• The role calls for strong attention to detail and quick, accurate data collection and validation.
