Role Overview
The company seeks a Full Cycle Recruiter to join the Talent team, reporting to the Head of Talent. The ideal candidate will manage recruitment efforts for both technical and non-technical roles, ensuring exceptional talent acquisition and a seamless candidate experience. This role requires close teamwork with hiring managers and Recruiting Operations to meet hiring goals efficiently. Experience in startup environments is necessary, with a strong preference for technology startup and Defense Tech recruiting, including familiarity with candidates holding active U.S. security clearances.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead recruitment searches and hiring initiatives as guided by the Head of Talent.
- Oversee the entire hiring process, from initiating searches to offer acceptance for technical and non-technical positions.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to execute recruitment strategies and interview plans.
- Source and engage passive candidates using innovative methods and modern recruiting tools.
- Develop and maintain pipelines of qualified candidates for current and future positions.
- Conduct preliminary candidate screenings evaluating fit for roles and organizational culture.
- Ensure excellent candidate experience through proactive communication and organization.
- Maintain recruitment momentum and timely progress of candidates through hiring stages.
- Provide hiring managers with frequent updates, market insights, and search progress reports.
- Keep accurate records of candidates, interview feedback, and recruitment data using Greenhouse.
- Work closely with Recruiting Operations to support smooth interview, offer, and onboarding processes.
- Represent TurbineOne positively and professionally in all candidate interactions.
- Suggest process improvements to enhance recruitment efficiency and experience.
Qualifications
- 5 to 7 years of experience managing full-cycle recruiting.
- A team-oriented mindset with low ego, placing mission and collective success above personal recognition.
- Strong alignment with TurbineOne’s mission and understanding of its impact on frontline service members.
- Proven experience recruiting in startups or rapidly growing environments; technology startup experience is highly preferred.
- Successful track record recruiting both technical and non-technical talent, including software engineers and technical professionals.
- Excellent sourcing skills and ability to engage passive candidates effectively.
- Ability to handle multiple concurrent searches with meticulous organizational skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities.
- Capacity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.
- Balanced sense of urgency and sound judgment.
- Commitment to outstanding candidate experiences.
- Comfortable taking direction and collaborating with both Talent leadership and hiring managers.
- Motivated to grow as an individual contributor rather than immediately seeking people management roles.
- Preferred: Experience in Defense Tech recruiting, familiarity with candidates holding active U.S. security clearances, knowledge of government contracting or national security sectors, and proficiency with recruiting platforms such as Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Gem.
