Freelance Security Trainer

Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Security Trainer with a minimum of 10 to 15 years of hands-on experience within the GCC region to join our network of qualified trainers. This role is based in Doha, Qatar, and involves providing professional and practical security and surveillance training tailored to various security personnel and staff across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive security and surveillance training sessions for both individuals and corporate groups.
• Deliver practical and classroom-based instruction on security operations and surveillance techniques.
• Train attendees on proficient CCTV monitoring, detection, observation, reporting, and escalation processes.
• Guide participants in recognizing suspicious activities, security threats, vulnerabilities, and potential incident scenarios.
• Provide training on conducting security risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Illustrate appropriate protocols for managing security incidents and emergency responses.
• Evaluate participants’ knowledge and practical abilities when required.
• Maintain detailed records of attendance, assessments, and training outcomes.
• Offer feedback and improvement recommendations following each training session.
• Customize training material to align with client-specific operational environments and needs.
• Ensure training delivery meets professional standards and adheres to relevant security policies and client mandates.

Experience and Qualifications

• At least 10 to 15 years of relevant professional security industry experience within GCC countries.
• Current residence in Doha, Qatar, is mandatory.
• Demonstrated expertise in security operations, CCTV surveillance and monitoring, risk assessment, incident management, and emergency response.
• Experience working across varied sectors such as hospitality, corporate facilities, commercial buildings, critical infrastructure, airports, healthcare, or large-scale events is advantageous.
• Proven background in delivering security-related training or conducting staff briefings/toolbox sessions is preferred.
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in domains such as Security Management, CCTV Operations, Surveillance, Risk Assessment, Security Operations, Emergency Response, Health & Safety, or Train-the-Trainer are highly valued.
• Possession of GCC security licenses or approvals is a plus.

• Training locations primarily in Doha, with potential travel within Qatar as required.
