Role Overview
This position is for Corporate Finance professionals specializing in FP&A, financial modeling, and valuation, working remotely as freelance contractors. The role requires translating corporate finance activities into structured AI workflows, evaluating AI output quality, and engaging in financial analysis use cases such as budgeting, forecasting, valuation, and performance assessment.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert real-world corporate finance processes into organized tasks suitable for AI systems.
- Assess AI-generated financial analyses for accuracy, logical consistency, and relevance to business contexts.
- Handle projects including financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, valuation, and performance evaluations.
- Detect deficiencies, edge cases, and failures in AI financial models.
- Document clearly all assumptions, financial reasoning, and decision-making procedures.
- Offer systematic feedback to enhance AI's outputs and functionality.
Qualifications
- At least five years' professional experience in corporate finance roles such as FP&A, investment analysis, or consulting.
- Recent hands-on expertise with financial modeling methods, valuation techniques like DCF and comparables, budgeting, or forecasting.
- Strong comprehension of financial statements, key business drivers, and frameworks influencing decisions.
- Meticulous attention to detail for critically evaluating complex financial scenarios.
- Ability to operate autonomously within a dynamic, remote work environment.
Work Environment and Expectations
- Work is mainly asynchronous, affording flexible hours.
- Few mandatory meetings, typically optional office hours.
- Communication and project management are conducted through Slack and proprietary platforms.
- Prompt onboarding and initial engagement are required within 24 hours after offer acceptance.
Additional Information
This freelance role is compensated between $100 and $125 per hour. Candidates are expected to commit to a minimum of 10 hours weekly, ideally between 15 to 20 hours, based on interest and availability. Immediate start with a fast-track onboarding process is mandated.
