Food Counter Attendant

Role Overview

This position involves a variety of duties to ensure smooth food service and cleanliness in a fast-paced environment. No formal education or prior experience is required as training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas and prepare tables.
• Clear and sanitize tables, trays, and chairs regularly.
• Operate dishwashers to clean dishes, glassware, and flatware efficiently.
• Organize clean dishes and utensils in designated storage areas.
• Keep condiment and supply stations well-stocked.
• Manually wash and sanitize dishes and kitchen utensils when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of food quantities used.
• Package food items for take-out orders and properly portion and wrap foods.
• Prepare, warm, and finish simple food items following instructions.
• Assist customers by taking orders and serving at counters or buffet setups.
• Stock refrigerators and salad bars with fresh items.
• Use manual and electrical tools to clean, peel, slice, and trim food products.
• Ensure kitchen areas, including work surfaces and equipment, are cleaned and sanitized thoroughly.
• Receive, unpack, and properly store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage locations.
• Manage kitchen garbage removal and maintain general cleanliness of floors by sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing.
• Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruits as required.
