About the Role
The Food & Beverage Operations Manager will oversee Drift Santa Barbara's comprehensive food and beverage outlets, including the daytime café Dawn, the cocktail bar Dusk, and all associated events and programs. Partnering closely with the General Manager and hotel leadership, this role involves directing daily operations, nurturing and coaching staff, enhancing guest satisfaction, and upholding the unique Drift brand experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of Dawn café, Dusk bar, and all food and beverage events and programming on property.
- Supervise and coordinate private events, activations, and special activities.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and development opportunities for food and beverage team members.
- Handle scheduling, labor management, inventory oversight, purchasing, and enforce cost control measures.
- Maintain high standards of service quality, cleanliness, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with hotel management to craft memorable guest experiences and identify revenue growth possibilities.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of three years managing food and beverage operations within hotels, restaurants, or boutique hospitality settings.
- Proven expertise in leading restaurant, bar, café, and event operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational capabilities.
- Financial management skills including labor, inventory, and purchasing control.
- Hands-on leadership style with an emphasis on staff engagement and presence during service.
- Willingness to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands.

Compensation
The annual salary range for this position is between $78,000 and $82,000.
