About the Position

The Fitzwilton Hotel, located on Bridge Street, Waterford, is seeking two experienced Food & Beverage Assistants to join their team at The Met Bar. Candidates should be prepared to deliver outstanding food and beverage services in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide consistently high standards in food and beverage service
• Welcome, interact with, and serve guests professionally and courteously
• Ensure precise preparation and attention to detail in service setups
• Respond effectively and promptly to guests' requests
• Promote and upsell hotel products and services to guests
• Maintain cleanliness of both internal and external service areas
• Display and sustain a positive attitude throughout all work areas

Essential Requirements

• Prior experience in similar roles within hotels, restaurants, or gastro bars is mandatory
• Availability to work on both weekdays and weekends is required
• Ability to perform well under pressure in a dynamic environment
• Strong attention to detail alongside exceptional customer service skills
• Excellent communication abilities to foster good interdepartmental relations
