Role Overview
The Final Certifier plays a critical role in validating print product quality and supporting manufacturing teams to ensure first-rate carpet delivery to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct audits including range, automated planker, and standard work audits, offering constructive feedback to team members and supervisors.
- Provide detailed feedback on any failed orders to assist manufacturing in quality improvements.
- Place tiles in the Lab and Certification Room daily for testing, review materials, and process them based on test outcomes.
- Approve and evaluate custom orders with attention to design elements and pattern registration.
- Utilize tools such as sales order data, design servers, and master materials to make prompt decisions supporting range quality with minimal downtime.
- Oversee Make-To-Order (MTO) processes to confirm quality inspections and ensure correct products reach the warehouse.
- Assess and approve shear orders, providing feedback on layouts that do not meet standards.
- Monitor and certify claim replacements, critical projects, and other special orders according to Quality Assurance reports and procedures.
- Track, report, and train associates regarding External Quality Claims management.
- Review and handle ARG (Return) orders on print, SDN, LVT, and CNS products, liaising with Quality Assurance for claim resolution.
- Complete any additional projects or tasks assigned by supervisors.

Additional Information
This position involves a 40 to 48-hour workweek based on staffing levels and market demands, operating on the 3rd shift schedule.
