About the role
The Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) is seeking faculty members for its Engineering division. SIT is Singapore’s first University of Applied Learning and focuses on programmes that combine industry relevance, applied learning, and research to develop graduates who are ready for both work and future challenges.
The university’s teaching model blends study with real-world practice through close partnerships with industry. Its applied research work is aimed at delivering business impact and helping organisations innovate. SIT is also building a central campus in the Punggol Digital District, designed to bring academia, industry, and the community into a shared learning environment.
Within Engineering, faculty contribute to translational research, industry consultancy, and teaching across multiple engineering disciplines. The cluster also supports strategic “Living Lab” test beds inside and outside campus to strengthen experiential learning and applied research.
