Role Overview
We are looking for a knowledgeable Liability Adjuster to handle Employers' Liability, Public Liability, and Motor claims across Meath, Dublin, and the East Coast areas. This role offers the flexibility of remote work combined with on-road responsibilities. The position is ideal for a self-motivated claims professional who thrives in independent work environments and is committed to high-quality client service.
Core Duties
- Conduct thorough investigations of legal and policy liability by collecting and analyzing pertinent evidence and preparing comprehensive client reports.
- Carefully examine claims to identify critical points and pursue necessary lines of inquiry.
- Evaluate claim quantum in accordance with the Irish Rehabilitation Board's Personal Injury Guidelines.
- Manage a diverse and active claims portfolio while adhering rigorously to service level agreements, regulatory compliance, and service benchmarks.
- Exercise sound judgement and initiative to provide exemplary service standards.
Requirements
- At least three years of experience handling liability claims.
- Possession of a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) qualification is mandatory; additional certifications such as APA or ACII are highly regarded.
- Must hold a valid full driving licence as the role requires travel.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Employers' Liability and Occupiers' Liability principles, along with relevant legislation.
- A solid grasp of practical and legal frameworks underpinning Motor, Employers' Liability, and Public Liability claims.
- Experience with Product Liability claims is an advantageous addition to core expertise.
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
- Strong IT competencies, including confidence in using claims management software and related technology.
- High personal and professional integrity with the capacity to lead by example and effectively collaborate in team and independent settings.
Working Hours and Benefits
The role features a 35-hour workweek from Monday to Friday with flexibility outside normal 9am-5pm hours, allowing substantial autonomy and the opportunity to work fully remotely. This schedule supports a desirable work-life balance suitable for managing personal and family commitments.
Compensation includes a salary up to €65,000 depending on experience, along with benefits such as an enhanced contributory pension, performance bonuses, flexible and voluntary benefits schemes, enhanced family leave, a birthday holiday, and a share purchase scheme.
